The image above is one example of one my informal reviews of my hometown's art scene.
Most of my writing is highly descriptive and centered on visual details. In writing about art, I like to describe the actual art work and relate it to the artist's intent. My history books typically include places readers can still see today. (Sometimes I even provide a street address.) Even my latest book about the Battle of Brandywine is a "visual" history, complete with more than 60 old photos and vintage postcards. Much like the historians of the past, I like to encourage readers to explore the battlefield on foot and to experience the "battle of terrain" themselves.
